SITUATIONAL AWARENESS
This training is designed to increase an individual's situational awareness. We provide guidance on how to identify potential attackers and, if an attack occurs, how to mitigate and prepare for the associated risks. We employ an exclusive methodology to categorize the most important risks facing a seemingly random/indiscriminate act of violence.

HOW IT WORKS
All our actions at any given moment manifest from the brain. These behaviors can be unconscious, conscious and sometimes a little bit of both. When you begin observing people's behavior, we want to start with the unconscious behaviors that most people have no idea they are even exhibiting.

In times of fear or threat, your brain relies heavily on your limbic system (the fear center of your brain) or your survival mind to get you through bad situations. When this survival mind is engaged, there are several observable behaviors that show the individual is engaged in a fear or threat response. Most of these behaviors cannot be stopped and most people do not even know they are happening at the time. These behaviors are communicated through physiological responses, non-verbal communication, our personal space and how we interact with our environment.

Whether it is a physiological response to a threat or the non-verbal communication that lies just under the surface, this information provides you with the opportunity to take action. At S³AFE, we will fill your behavior "bucket" with indicators of threat and information to build a proactive mindset. Rather than waiting for events to happen, then reacting, you will have the knowledge and skills to operate in a proactive manner.

It does you no good to list out the behaviors you observed after bad things have happened. We want you to take what you learn with S³AFE and disrupt those events from ever happening. We can no longer afford to be reactive to situations. When you are reacting to situations you are always at a disadvantage because the bad guys get to pick the time and place. We at S³AFE want to build in a bias to take action when you observe these anomalous behaviors and disrupt these events from hurting anyone.
